Muchtar Simanjuntak​​

Muchtar P. Simanjuntak is a distinguished Indonesian executive with over 35 years of leadership across the fields of media, energy, construction, mining, finance, public infrastructure, and international development. As Founder and Group CEO of Wahana Groups, he has laid the foundation for one of Indonesia’s most diversified and resilient business ecosystems.

He currently serves as CEO of Wahana Huta Karya, where he oversees key projects in mining, construction, and renewable energy, and as CEO of Wahana Prima Investindo, focused on strategic consulting, asset-based ventures, and business development. In the creative industry, he continues to serve as Commissioner of Wahana Media Entertainment, one of Indonesia’s leading integrated media companies.

Throughout his career, Muchtar has held various executive roles in both national and international institutions including the United Nations (UNDP, UNOPS, UNV), mining and energy companies, and global infrastructure projects. His expertise spans financial strategy, project governance, procurement, taxation, human resources, and public sector liaison—sharpened by years of work in high-stakes environments such as post-crisis reconstruction, public health finance, and large-scale transportation systems.

Under his leadership, Wahana Groups has not only survived multiple economic cycles but thrived—expanding into multiple verticals with a commitment to innovation, transparency, and national impact. He is well regarded for combining operational excellence with a deep understanding of regulatory and stakeholder environments across Indonesia and Southeast Asia.

Muchtar’s journey from field accountant to multinational project manager and ultimately, visionary CEO, reflects a lifetime of dedication to sustainable development, business integrity, and nation-building.

Dean Ray Jonathan

Dean Ray Jonathan, is a professional lawyer, strategic executive, and visionary entrepreneur driving transformation across multiple industries in Indonesia. He currently serves as Commissioner at both Wahana Prima Investindo, the group’s business consulting and asset management arm, and Wahana Huta Karya, which focuses on energy, manufacturing, and construction.

Jo leads as the Chief Executive Officer of Rayona Group Indonesia, overseeing ventures in retail, F&B, fashion, wellness, agriculture, and logistics. Jo also holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at Wahana Media Entertainment, where he has built a comprehensive media and entertainment ecosystem spanning music labels, artist management, digital content distribution, event production, and film. His legal acumen and entrepreneurial mindset are further reflected in his role as Founding Partner at Venna Simanjuntak & Partners, a boutique firm specializing in corporate law, restructuring, and insolvency.

A second-generation leader of Wahana Group, Jo has been instrumental in modernizing the organization’s vision and operations—infusing innovation, digital strategy, and sustainable business practices across its diverse portfolio. His leadership style blends legal insight, operational discipline, and a forward-thinking approach to business development.

Jo began his professional journey in several of Indonesia’s top-tier law firms before establishing his own legal practice and stepping into high-impact corporate leadership. He is known for building meaningful collaborations between sectors, with a focus on bringing local excellence to global platforms.

He is also deeply committed to social impact through the Wahana Foundation, where he advocates for youth empowerment, education, and inclusive community development.
